Katie Holmes Wore Her $113 Sneakers To A New York Fashion Week Party

It's weird to say, but New York Fashion Week is back, and Katie Holmes is everywhere.

She kicked off fashion week with a bejeweled outfit for the Christian Siriano presentation on the first night. She was dressed in a trouser suit from the designer's fall/winter 2020 collection, which had considerably more spectacular decorations than any version we possess. But we're more interested in how she styled a pair of $113 Adidas shoes with her sultry Christopher Esber ab cut-out dress from last night.

From the ever-controversial Birkenstock to the renowned Reebok shoe that every celebrity seems to own, Holmes definitely enjoys wearing comfy footwear. We've seen her wear this sort of footwear with sweatpants or a casual denim short skirt before, but last night, she went for a full-on party look with sneakers that you'd wear for running errands.

In essence, she went for comfort at NYFW, which any seasoned fashion editor will tell you is the finest choice. Furthermore, it creates the impression that the party was one of her stops for the night, rather than her whole night. What better way to depart the country than in a pair of comfy Adidas sneakers? We are ecstatic to see it.

It Doesn't Get Any Sweeter Than This For The Nike Dunk High "Chocolate"

Since its comeback in the shoe business, the Nike Dunk has had a plethora of colorways. Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely. And while we're on the subject of sweets, the Nike Dunk High "Chocolate" just dropped, and a closer look at the shoe reveals that it can't be any sweeter than it already is! The iteration has a high-top profile, which gives the heels and ankles more support. Unlike its "Light Chocolate Sail" counterpart from last year, which had milky hues, this premium leather rendition has darker brown tones.
