Following the highly anticipated debut of Justin Saunders' BAPE Sta, he now appears to be preparing to unveil the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 "Green." New Balance, a Boston-based footwear brand, and Saunders' creative imprint have been working together for a few years, with a couple of their 99X collaborations fetching high resale prices on the secondary market.

Mr Saunders is no stranger to the NB 990 silhouette; the JJJJound 990V3 "Grey" and 990V4 "Navy" colorways were both released earlier.

The 990V3 "Green" is identical to its siblings, with the same premium suede and mesh construction that has become synonymous with New Balance's renowned 99X bloodline. The color scheme is largely khaki green, with black accents highlighting the profile "N" insignia and the inner lining providing contrasting flairs. The cream laces and ENCAP midsole tooling underfoot give the iconic footwear piece a vintage vibe, while traditional NB USA branding on the tongues and heels round out the classic look.
