Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG First Class Flight
-
Materials:
The look and feel of perforated
leather is an acquired taste, and it does not feel as pleasant in the hand as
regular leather.
One thing to keep in mind is that
the interior of the ankle collar is made of a neoprene-like substance. It's a
lot comfier than what Jordan has used in the past.
There are no major complaints or
faults with the shoe's construction. Of course, this may not be true for all
pairs, but the few I've seen have been well-crafted.
On the other hand, we'll have to
wait and see how the leather holds up over time.
- Fit & Comfort:
Most people will be fine going true
to size in this shoe, as they are in most Air Jordan 1s, but those who prefer a
snug fit may choose to go down a half size.
Because the cushioning technology in
this shoe is ancient, you shouldn't expect to get a lot of comfort out of it.
Of course, as the shoe breaks in,
you'll get a better feel, but nothing that will blow you away.
- Style & Value:
Because the shoe is mostly white,
putting together an ensemble with these will be simple.
Despite the vivid yellow highlights,
these should be easy to dress up or down with jeans, shorts, chinos, or sweats.
$160 for a sneaker with such
out-of-date technology isn't the best deal. This is especially true given that
this colorway is unlikely to be on many people's top-10 lists.
On the bright side, this is an
iconic silhouette that is popular on the streets and must be discovered for
something.
If you're on the fence regarding
these and wear a size larger than a 10. You should wait till they go on sale
before purchasing these.
