While the shoe appears to be a conventional 350 at first glance, with a dusty color scheme, the reflective strip has been updated with innovative technology. When exposed to sunlight, the transparent mesh strip turns a deep yellow hue, dramatically changing the color scheme and providing a contrast to the bland top.

This new development could be a way to build up some steam for a spate of new YEEZY models in the coming months, after a rather quiet month by YEEZY norms. After all, haven't we seen how good Kanye is at developing buzz lately?

The adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 Light retailed for $220, but StockX market data shows that it has traded in a 12-month range of $299-$646, averaging $408. The YEEZYverse appears to be greeting the UV technology with open arms, as the model now has a 43 percent price increase.

Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely.
