Back To The 90s With This Air Max BW "Persian Violet"
It's official: the Big Window classic is back, and it's keeping loyal to its roots! Due to its timeless appearance and craftsmanship, the Nike Air Max BW "Persian Violet" immediately garnered a cult-like following and appreciation among music scenes after its debut in 1991.
This newest iteration maintains faithful to the original Tinker Hatfield design, which was popularized among the Gabber and Hardcore dance communities in the early 2000s. Years later, the shoe was soon adopted by the London Grime culture, with Dizzie Rascal's classic "Boy in Da Corner" record including it.
The shoe's upper is made of a flexible mesh that molds to the form of the wearer's foot. Additional cushioning is included around the collar of the shoe, in contrast to the original model, but don't worry, ventilation is still acceptable thanks to the mesh perforated toe box region.
Things don't get much better than this OG in terms of comfort. The inner of the shoe is lined with plus foam, and the distinctive midsole air unit provides cushioning support.
Pops of "Persian Violet" around the collar, swoosh, and air unit contrast with the silhouette's black foundation and shades of stark white everywhere. This eye-catching colorway is one that no self-proclaimed Nike fan should overlook.
The Nike Air BW "Persian Violet" is slated to release on the SNKRS app tomorrow, September 24th at 8 a.m., so make sure you're ready with your alerts turned on for this one!
