Nigel Sylvester Has Signed A Deal With Jordan Brand
Nigel Sylvester's Air Jordan 1 partnership has recently completed three years, and the pro BMX rider has signed a new agreement with Jordan Brand.
Sylvester is the brand's first BMX signee, as announced today in a first-of-its-kind sponsorship agreement. Despite the fact that he's been a part of the Nike family from the beginning of his career and has collaborated on projects as far back as 2014's "SOMP" SB Dunk High, this new move will put him solely under the Jumpman umbrella.
“It’s an incredible feeling to be signed as an official athlete of the Jordan Brand family,” Sylvester said in a press release. “MJ blazed a trail by constantly striving for greatness and breaking down barriers for athletes from every walk of life. His legacy is one that I’ve looked towards for inspiration throughout my career. It’s surreal to get his co-sign and welcome into such an elite team and family of world-class athletes.”
The new deal's details are few, but Jordan Brand has confirmed that it will continue to work with Sylvester on new content and products in the future.
