Nike Is Bringing Back The Air Flight Lite II From 1992 In An Unexpected Way

While Nike tends to focus on certain best-sellers from their basketball archives, they do occasionally pander to nostalgic sneakerheads. Exhibit A: after over 30 years of inactivity, the Air Flight Lite II has resurfaced in current cycles.

The Air Flight Lite II was initially introduced in 1992, and it quickly rose to prominence as the preferred shoe of several players of Barcelona's Dream Team. This model prioritized minimal weight and quick motions as a significant entry in Nike Basketball's Flight series.

As a result, more agile players will like the perforated leather uppers, deeply scooped ankle collar, and reasonably slim Air-cushioned midsoles. This 2021 throwback brings back the original colorway, albeit there isn't much of it. It comes in a basic white and black color scheme with patterned lining for added visual interest.

This is the mid-cut variant, as used in Spain, although there is also a high-top version, like with its predecessor. Perhaps the reappearance of the Mid is a ray of hope for the comeback of its taller sister, along with some new colorways. The Nike Air Flight Lite II retro is currently available from id4shoes on eBay, and they're selling fast.

Notre has risen to popularity in the boutique retailing industry in recent years for its superb product curation, but their identity is rooted in community. For their next footwear collaboration, they've linked up with Vans for a third time, this time focusing on popular cafe beverages that we normally consume while socializing. The famous side-stripe on the OG Style 36 LX is transformed by Notre, who embroiders their handshake logo into the embroidered stripe (as seen on their OG Old Skool LX and Notre Dunks). This logo is placed on top of three different suede builds: matcha green, espresso brown, and a light grey teal (with navy hits). It Doesn't Get Any Sweeter Than This For The Nike Dunk High "Chocolate"

Since its comeback in the shoe business, the Nike Dunk has had a plethora of colorways. Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely. And while we're on the subject of sweets, the Nike Dunk High "Chocolate" just dropped, and a closer look at the shoe reveals that it can't be any sweeter than it already is! The iteration has a high-top profile, which gives the heels and ankles more support. Unlike its "Light Chocolate Sail" counterpart from last year, which had milky hues, this premium leather rendition has darker brown tones.
