Take A Look At The Official Stone Island x New Balance RC ELITE SI

Stone Island has finally released details of their long-awaited collaboration with New Balance, after teasing us with leaked pictures earlier this month. The Italian label stated this will be part of a long-term relationship between the two companies via an Instagram post, and the model in question this time is the RC ELITE racing shoe.

Originally designed as a high-performance race day shoe, Stone Island has infused the pair with its distinctive technical style as well as some instantly recognizable branding. While they aren't exactly the terrace-ready sneakers that some fans were hoping for, we have no doubts that they'll be a hit.

The shoes, which are made of cutting-edge textiles like the lightweight mesh seen above, pay homage to both New Balance and Stone Island's different histories with the usage of both the original N logo and the Compass emblem, which are applied using 3D methods on the right and left feet, respectively. The shoes are part of SI's Product Research line and include a full-length carbon fiber plate hidden beneath the midsole for all-day comfort and support.

If you like the appearance of the Stone Island x New Balance RC ELITE SI, there's a very limited method to get your hands on these, so read on. From the 7th to the 10th of October, the shoes may be previewed only at Stone Island stores via a unique experience where you can check the sneakers via a tablet.
