Vans Anaheim Factory ”Quilted Mix” Pack Is Perfect When One Pattern Is Not Enough
When brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren founded the Van Doren Rubber Company 55 years ago, no one could have imagined how big it would grow or how much of an influence its goods would have on the world's culture. The firm that we would come to know as Vans was founded from the bottom up in Anaheim, California, and despite its international success, it has never forgotten its beginnings.
Vans' Anaheim Factory line cherry-picks features from OG models made in the original factory and retools them with current technology, fabrications, and colors in commemoration and appreciation of the house from whence it sprung.
Now, the latest addition to the Anaheim Factory collection comes in the form of a three-piece set including the brand's most famous shapes. The Slip-On, Authentic, and Sk8-Hi are at the forefront of the collection, with Ortholite® sock liners providing contemporary comfort.
The "Quilted Mix" pack features a patchwork of polka dots, paisley, and leopard designs that are mismatched. Each panel is quilted, as the name implies, and the overlayed white stitching that follows the pattern gives it a three-dimensional look.
While this isn't one of Vans' most wearable colors, it is one of the company's biggest and boldest collections of statement items.
