Welcome To The Aape x New Balance's Planet

Camouflage season is here, courtesy to AAPE x New Balance, and there's no shortage of alternatives owing to the collection's extensive selection.

We're starting to lose track of how many New Balance partnerships there are. Releases have been pouring in thick and fast, and it would be an understatement to say there's something for everyone. We're not complaining if NB takes the shoe title this year thanks to Run The Boroughs, The Basement, and a slew of other brands.

A Bathing Ape's AAPE is next in line. When you hear AAPE, A Bathing Ape, or BAPE, you should anticipate camouflage. Any collaboration under the label wouldn't be complete without a dose of the brand's distinctive monkey-filled camo pattern, and this next New Balance line has enough of it.

Unlike the rest of the New Balance partnerships we've seen so far this year, this one includes more than simply footwear.

The camo is paired with a palette of green, beige, and black in the collaboration collection, which is equal parts military and streetwear. To avoid going completely BAPE, the print treatments are stitched together in a patchwork technique that keeps some subtlety. A matching jacket and slacks, hoodie, sweatshirt, socks, and bucket hat complete the street outfit.

Of course, the footwear is the major appeal of anything with New Balance's imprint on it. The 703, which is made up of a combination of leather, suede, and mesh, is front and center. The tongue and toe have bold AAPE branding, while the heel has NB iconography. To complement the clothing assortment, the sneaker is available in two colorways: black and khaki.

From September 25, the AAPE x New Balance collection will be available at AAPE's Japanese stores.

Bootleg Bapestas Are Back From Bape And Reebok

Isn't there such a thing as too much of a good thing? The two are back in action with a new set of collaborative Reebok designs, picking up where last year's collaboration left off. They are two well-worn BAPE models, so there's not much new ground being broken here, but these are among of the cleanest colours the pair has done to date. BAPE and Reebok's latest low-top, like the previous Club C, has the iconic star on the medial side and "BAPESTA" branding on the heel, making it a good alternative to the chunkier OG original. It Doesn't Get Any Sweeter Than This For The Nike Dunk High "Chocolate"

Since its comeback in the shoe business, the Nike Dunk has had a plethora of colorways. Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely. And while we're on the subject of sweets, the Nike Dunk High "Chocolate" just dropped, and a closer look at the shoe reveals that it can't be any sweeter than it already is! The iteration has a high-top profile, which gives the heels and ankles more support. Unlike its "Light Chocolate Sail" counterpart from last year, which had milky hues, this premium leather rendition has darker brown tones. The shoelaces, Nike Swoosh emblems on the lateral and medial sides, and the full-length midsole underfoot, all of which are in a pure white gradient, are the only pieces that add a flash of contrast to this delicious configuration.
