Converse Collab With Feng Chen Wang Is Almost A 2-For-1

The deconstructed form of Feng Chen Wang's debut Converse collaboration for SS19 caused a stir. The foundation shoe was the brand's classic Chuck 70, which had been given a radical twist by the Chinese designer, giving it the appearance of being a 2-in-1 sneaker.

Wang has reintroduced the same design in different hues. The Feng Chen Wang x Converse Chuck 70 2-in-1 is back in an all-leather version for FW21. The crinkled appearance on the top gives the shoe even more depth and substance. The first is a more subdued gray, while the second is a vibrant quartz pink that adds contrast and draws attention to the 2-in-1 design.

Feng Chen Wang's Converse collaborations have been some of the most underappreciated in recent years, as the London-based designer has taken a fresh, previously unseen approach to deconstruction.

The Highsnobiety Shop now has both colors available.
