Ready For The 'Changing Of The Seasons' With The ASICS GEL-Lyte III

Despite the fact that the GEL-Lyte III's 30th anniversary festivities began in 2020, ASICS continues to release new colorways of probably their most well-known retro runner. This new pair takes a conceptual approach with a 'Changing of the Seasons' theme, employing colors and materials that are ideal for the changing seasons.

Since its rebirth in the mid-2000s as a lifestyle model, suede has ruled supreme on the GEL-Lyte III, eschewing its athletic roots. Every panel of the top is covered with tactile aniline, with the exception of the Tiger Stripe logo, which is in smooth leather. On the subject of contrast, the toe box and mid panel have large perforations suggestive of gol.

ASICS has chosen some nice colors for this bundle based on the theme. The Japanese custom of searching for a beautiful red-burgundy maple leaf that was previously green – 'Momijigari' – is portrayed by tonal tones of 'Lichen Rock' and 'Watershed Rose' in both pairings. A swing tag that comes with the product describes the concept in great detail, and extra tongue stitching pays attention to it.

It Doesn't Get Any Sweeter Than This For The Nike Dunk High "Chocolate"

Since its comeback in the shoe business, the Nike Dunk has had a plethora of colorways. Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely. And while we're on the subject of sweets, the Nike Dunk High "Chocolate" just dropped, and a closer look at the shoe reveals that it can't be any sweeter than it already is! The iteration has a high-top profile, which gives the heels and ankles more support. Unlike its "Light Chocolate Sail" counterpart from last year, which had milky hues, this premium leather rendition has darker brown tones.
