These Nike Dunks Inspired By The Squid Game Are Ideal For Your Halloween Outfit

There's no denying that the Squid Game has become a cultural phenomenon. Hwang Dong-hyuk, the program's creator and director, was on the verge of bankruptcy ten years ago when no network would pick up his show. Squid Game is now Netflix's most popular series ever, with Bloomberg estimating that it will earn the streaming firm $900 million.

Earlier this month that owing to the show, Vans Slip-On sales increased by 7,800 percent. As we take our first look at this Squid Game-inspired Nike Dunk Low, we can see how the TV show has influenced customisers and artists.

These Nikes are painted in a dark pink color pattern over the upper and midsole, an homage to the masked crew that play a key part during the games. For a deconstructed effect, the inner tongue tag has been placed on the outside, and the toebox has been painted in all-black with a white square on the right foot and a circle on the left. This is a salute to the show's managers and personnel.

The Squid Game x Nike Dunk Low is the product of shoe customiser Andrew Chiou, and it's perfect for your Halloween look. It's safe to assume they'll never see the light of day, but it would be a dream come true for us if they did. Of course, there's also the 45.6 billion won.
