Wall-To-Wall Camouflage Is What Bape x Vans Is All About

The shoe soon gained a cult following and is still considered one of the most essential styles in the footwear industry today, making it an ideal project for Patta.

The mudguards are replaced with a wavy design to tie in with the concept of the partnership, named "Waves Not Cycles," and the shoe is dressed in a clean colorway of white, grey, and blue. The lateral and medial sides have Nike's distinctive Swoosh emblem, while the tongues feature dual Nike/Patta branding. The sneakers will also have limited-edition packaging as well as an anklet.

Vans, the Californian head honchos, have been given the opportunity to double down, releasing a joint line of footwear and gear.

The Sk8-Hi 38 DX and Authentic 44 DX are taking a strip down the runway. Anyone who has ever worn a pair of Off The Walls has most likely owned one of these two styles. They're your go-to low and high top shoe, and they're the ideal canvas for BAPE to paint on.

The Sk8-Hi 38 DX uses black and white to mimic the BAPE's ABC camo design, providing a sketch-like appearance that matches the sneaker's characteristic monochromatic palette.

The Authentic 44 DX, on the other hand, features a more recognized design, with BAPE's classic camo print running the length of the ripstop canvas.

Both pairs will be available in black and grey, and will be accompanied with a co-branded sweatshirt.
