Puma's "The Never Worn" Sneaker Capsule Gets A First Look

Puma has unveiled a shoe series called "The Never Worn," which is inspired by archival deadstock footwear.

Puma now pre-applies the aged appearance to four of its old school classic shoe styles using a mix of antique materials and retro details, as patina yellow midsoles have been popular in recent years due to the interest in distressed and unusual vintage sneakers. The Suede VTG, Blaze of Glory, Slipstream Lo, and Spacelab silhouettes are available in white, green, and gold colours. Exposed adhesive can be seen above the midsoles, and gold branding details can be spotted all around. Puma also incorporates throwback gear from its archives to match the shoe release, including a T7 tracksuit, coach jacket, and hoodie.

On December 4, the Puma "The Never Worn" shoe collection will be available at the 43einhalb website and other select stores.
