The KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High Is Your Best Look Ever
We knew the KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High was going to be a must-have when it originally surfaced back in July. This special edition release honors the shop's 20th anniversary in spectacular manner, after serving Brooklyn's skate community for two decades.
Amy Ellington's version on the classic Dunk High comes in an all-pink colorway, with a quality nubuck foundation and buttery suede panels wrapping around the heel, toebox, and lacing system. A stealthy Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels for a splash of contrast, and a blacked-out midsole underfoot, replete with a dash of gum for good measure, is contrasted by a blacked-out midsole, complete with a dash of gum for good measure.
There are a slew of other intriguing tidbits strewn throughout as well. For example, "KCDC 2001" and "KCDC 2021" are sewn beneath the original Nike insignia on the right and left tongues, respectively, as an homage to the skateshop's 20-year history. Custom heel tabs are also included around the heel, and the insoles are dipped in a strong green and have devil, star, and happy face designs, which you can't see in these images from @yankeekicks.
The KCDC x Nike SB Dunk High will most likely release this month or next month, as these were created to commemorate the boutique's two-decade anniversary.
