The Upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG "Varsity Red" Will Debut With Chenille Swooshes

Since his debut in the footwear market in 1982, Michael Jordan's initial trademark basketball sneakers have seen an amazing amount of transformations. The AJ1 is still as popular today as it was back then, with throwback color blockings and collaborations unquestionably influencing the excitement surrounding the silhouette.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Varsity Red" is the most recent installment, and here's all you need to know about the next pair.

The outfit begins with a pristine white leather basis, as revealed by respected sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz. The overlying equivalents get a "Varsity Red" treatment, while the suede collars and corduroy tongues get a "Light Ore" treatment. The chenille Swooshes over the lateral and media sidewalls further distinguish these Air Jordan 1 High from the pack. The material-heavy concept of these Jordans is completed with MJ's Wings insignia imprinted on the ankle flaps and Nike Air-branded tongue tags.

Early next year, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG "Varsity Red" is set to release.
