The Yeezy 1050 "Hi-Res" Will Be Released Later This Year

The start of boot season has here. Last month, Ye debuted the NSLTD Boot and the Knit Runner Boot, and now he's back with the long-awaited Yeezy 1050 "Hi-Res." If you recall, we first saw these boots in January when ASAP Bari teased them on Instagram, and they're now getting an official release over a year later.

The 1050 is without a doubt one of West's most bizarre silhouettes to date (and that's saying a lot). It takes the classic concept of a boot and propels it into the future. The tongue appears to be lifted directly from the Yeezy 500 "Stone," replete with soft neoprene, while the rest of the Yeezy is covered in a brilliant "Hi-Res" Orange color scheme.

For the ultimate lockdown fit, a zip runs across the front of the shoe, and adidas' Three Stripe insignia is debossed on the lateral and medial side panels as a reference to the brand.

Lower down, you'll notice an extra hefty midsole with a highly molded design for an avant-garde look. Exaggerated traction makes them ideal for the next winter months, and the rubber outsole is produced in conjunction with Continental, according to the marking on the heel. This firm specializes in vehicle tyres, and they are well-known for producing rubber for the Ultra Boost.

The adidas Yeezy 1050 Boost "Hi-Res" was once known as the 1020v when it was still in the sample stage. We realize they aren't everyone's cup of tea, and they'll be available in December for roughly £360, but we've been waiting for these from day one.
