The Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Independence Day" From 1997 Will Make A Comeback

The Air Force 1 will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2022. The now-legendary style, designed by Bruce Kilgore, was actually withdrawn in 1984. Two years later, it was re-released with the present italicised logo, and the overall design has remained largely unchanged since then. The Beaverton company is slated to bring back the legendary Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Independence Day" to commemorate four decades of the AF1 - and here's all we know so far!

We're just going to say it: the Air Force 1 Mid is going to be a big deal next year, and you heard it first here. The "Independence Day," which was first released in 1997, has an all-leather structure that is as luxurious as it gets.

This strap also features a "Varsity Red" Nike Swoosh. A larger jewelled variant can be seen on the lateral and medial side panels to complete the look. Finally, the stainless steel dubraes bring the whole thing together, completing the very amazing design.

In 2022, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Independence Day" will be released.
