For 2022, The Nike Waffle Debut Is Fresh

Nike's Waffle technology isn't new; in fact, it was one of the brand's initial inventions when co-founder Bill Bowerman came up with the notion, prototyping it with his wife's waffle iron. The classic sole unit has remained popular among footwear lovers worldwide since then, and Nike is set to release a brand-new model called the Nike Waffle Debut.

The pair, which is seen above in four new colorways, appears to be stylistically comparable to the later popular Nike Waffle One, which debuted in 2021. The streamlined design has a nostalgic vibe to it, yet it is built with modern materials and technologies, ensuring that these are more than capable of serving as everyday beaters.

They appear to be made of a variety of fabric panels, including suede, athletic mesh, and leather, making them both comfortable and durable, and featuring Nike's distinctive Swoosh logo on both the lateral and medial sides. The tongues feature vintage-style branding, while the heels include a huge pull tab, all of which is set on top of a traditional waffle sole unit.

If you're interested in getting your hands on any of the impending Nike Waffle Debut colorways, the good news is that they'll be available in the coming months.

Since its comeback in the shoe business, the Nike Dunk has had a plethora of colorways. Sneakerheads all over the world have enjoyed a variety of colorways with themed features over the last two years, some in commemorative designs and others that are just plain simple and lovely. And while we're on the subject of sweets, the Nike Dunk High "Chocolate" just dropped, and a closer look at the shoe reveals that it can't be any sweeter than it already is!
