On Valentine's Day, The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Red" Will Be Released

Are you ready for one of the most colorful and bold Yeezys ever? We're getting our first glimpse at the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Red" after it leaked back in October. Here's what we know so far about Kanye West's newly-announced CMPCT line's second colorway.

The "Slate Red" boasts a full Primeknit upper that fits like a sock, and is based on the legendary 350 V2 that has been a shoe mainstay since 2015. A secure fit is provided with an elasticated collar taken straight from the 450, as well as Ye's limitless lacing system. Puddles of earthy brown provide a subtle yet startling flash of contrast throughout the sea of red, and the heel pull tab has been completely removed to give the top a sleek and streamlined aesthetic.

Of course, no discussion of the "Slate Red" would be complete without discussing the ribbed midsole underfoot. This is as comfortable as it gets, thanks to adidas Boost foam.

According to our sources, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Red" will drop on February 14th, which is Valentine's Day this year. Let us know what you think of these, they're one of Ye's most distinctive colorways yet!
